So I noticed that lights were out in basically one half of my house. I woke up the next morning and googled electrians , this company popped up. I read through reviews and did some other digging and decided to give them a call. I’m glad I did. Charles came out later that afternoon and began to troubleshoot in the areas where there lights weee not coming on. He was so thorough in understanding the root cause of the issue. He always was very detailed in sharing with me everything he was seeing and how he planed to rectify the situation. I was appreciative of that and joked with my mom that i needed a note book to write down all the info b/c he was giving me a crash course. Ultimately he was able to find the fault and fix the problem. He re-routed circuits making sure that rooms that were affected would be able to work o their own circuits. The job was quite tedious due to the poor wiring job that had been done in the past in the house. We had one additional piece to complete which was getting the ceiling fan in my living room reconnected to power. Marcus a team member came out and completed that today. He was wonderful as well and careful not to damage any of items. Overall I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to others. A+ and timely customer service, friendly and personable staff.
I have used Morton Electric on multiple occasions. The electricians are always professional. They come on time, perform the services as promised, clean up behind themselves and their pricing is affordable as far as electrical services are concerned. Called due to an outlet appearing to be burning out. Even though it was late in the evening he responded to my text to put me at ease as I was pretty sure the whole house was going to catch on fire. 😫. He came out the very next day. He provided me with some invaluable information, and was very professional. Worth every dollar! Wish that more companies operated like Morton Electric. You definitely get what you pay for. Cheaper is not always better.
2024 Edit: I was running both a heater and blow dryer in my bathroom and blew a fuse. I did all of the YouTube video and Google suggestions, but I could not get it to come back on. I put in an online request and heard back very quickly. Once I explained the issue to Mr. Morton, he was kind enough to walk me through how to do it myself instead of charging me $200+ to come out. He could have easily taken advantage of me, but he was honest and kind. This business will ALWAYS be my first call for anything electrical. A few years after my initial review, but still 5 star service. -- I was seeking an electrician to add an outdoor outlet and one of my neighbors recommended Morton Electrical via Nextdoor. I completed the online form and I received a call from the owner within 10 seconds - I was so shocked. Mr. Morton was very friendly and quoted me a fair price. He was able to schedule me for two days later though because of the bad storms it needed to be rescheduled for the next day. Michael arrived on time, followed COVID protocols, and quickly walked me through the work he needed to do. The work was completed in about 30 minutes and it looks so nice and professional. I highly recommend this company for your next electrical project!

Mike Oglesby was the first tech Mr. Morton sent me awhile back. From that point on, I personally ask for him. He is professional, yet personable. Even indulges in an old lady’s gibber while yet getting his work done! He is efficient and knowledgeable. I thank God for hardworking, young men.

I'm very satisfied with the service and professionalism. I had previously received a quote for twice as much as I paid Charles R Morton Electric. I'm willing to pay for quality service. But don't try to rip me off. All services were clearly explained. Cost saving options were presented and empliminted. Corrections were made to existing outside outlets that were causing problems that I was not made aware of with previous quotes. I now have outlets to handle all tools for my new workshop in my garage. I highly recommend Charles R Morton Electric.
I called Charles R Morton early one morning to reserve a service appointment. He explained his process and said he could in fact come out the very same day. Prior to arriving, he called to inform me of his estimated time of arrival. Charles was very patient in diagnosing our electrical problems and was able to troubleshoot the very same day.

We loved working with Charles and have already recommended him to some friends! First, I really appreciated that he was able to offer a rough estimate/ quote over the phone before even coming out to our home (although our job was relatively simple, so he might not be able to do that for every task). Second, he was able to come out in just a few days, right before Thanksgiving. He was quick, kind and polite, and the price was really affordable. (Covid plus: he happily wore a mask without us having to ask.) Morton Electric will definitely be our go-to!

These guys are great! They installed an outlet and breaker for my Kiln in under an hour. And it was done at a good price. Definitely recommend to Potters who need their electric kilns put in.
5 stars isn’t enough. I called them at 3:58 pm. The electrician Marcus arrived at 4:57 pm to fix an issue we had with replacing the hardwire outlet with a 4 prong outlet. Great customer service. Great work. Highly recommend.

New homeowner here. I called a few companies but I didnt feel comfortable with them. I called this wonderful company after reading their reviews and it was worth it. The gentlemen had me send him a picture of my panel. That was something no one else asked for. He then walked me through the process of resetting the switch that controlled the power upstairs. No service charge/visit fee required. I felt alittle dumb for not knowing this but He was kind and taught me about my panel. I will definetly contact them in the future for my electrical needs.
Unfortunately, my dryer caught on fire last weekend. I got Charles‘s number from a friend of mine. He was quick to respond and set up a date for someone on his team (Michael) to come out and look at the damage. Michael contacted me when he was on his way and was within the window of time expected. He was very polite, went over everything thoroughly, and did a super job. I highly recommend the company and can see why my friends like them so much.
Morton Electric came out and wired an addition. Two bedrooms and bathroom, they gave me excellent service and was very professional with their work. I definitely recommend Morton Electric for all electrical needs!!!!👍👍👍👍

Wow! Installed 3 new lights, figured out the problem with other lights and repaired an outlet. Also, recommended what to do with a ballast on its way out. Service was quick and they cleaned up when done. So happy with the service!

I am so glad that GOD led me to contact Charles R Morton Electric. I saw a spark and heard a pop when I turned a light switch on, and then noticed loss of some lights in my home. I contacted them right before closing and Mr Morton was even willing to come by on his way home. I requested a next day appointment instead. Just as promised his employee Daniel arrived the next morning on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and followed COVID precautions by wearing his face mask. He informed me of the problem and showed me the damage to the outlet, wire, & switch. He replaced the outlet, switch, and repaired the wire. He answered my questions and made sure all lights were working before he left. I was so pleased with this company and informed Mr Morton that I will be using them in the future for my ceiling fan installs and other projects. I will also refer them to everyone looking for A+ rated electricians. Thank you Charles and Daniel.
Needed an electrician due issues with circuit breaker overloading. Michael was able to identify the issue quickly and assist with a secondary issue. I plan to use this company in the near future again as we have quite a few projects planned for our fixer upper.

Mr Morton made minor interior electrical modifications to support room usage changes and then ran electricity to a separate structure on my property installed a panel and the junctions required. Sometimes I feel like he gets tired of me calling and messaging him about issues or new projects, but he’s always excited to work with me, extremely professional, punctual, and reasonable. The technician Mike is incredible. On time, smart and educated me about my device and the change I needed to boost the electrical current for optimum performance. I rarely give 5 stars because that leaves no room for improvement, but Mike is certainly deserving of this rating.
I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their service. I called on a Sunday expecting to leave a voicemail and to my surprise I actually spoke to someone live. He asked several questions to assist in diagnosing my issue and then we set the appointment date and time window. The day of the appointment I received a call to advise that the electrician was on his way and it was within the time frame I was quoted previously. It took him no time to locate and repair the problem. If I ever have any electrical needs I will definitely call again. They are prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.

Called Mr. Charles after having someone who claimed to be an electrician assist with my microwave that I thought shorted out. I received a call back that same day and two days later my outlet issue was fixed and my new microwave wave works perfectly. Mr. Charles and Marcus were so professional and knowledgeable and very kind. Will definitely use them again and I would 100% recommend them.
Great service from Charles today. I had a no nonsense estimate of costs for the jobs I needed done. He made an appointment, came out on time, and retrofitted two florescent fixtures into LED, installed two smoke detectors, and replaced a socket. No pressure trying to get me to agree to repairs unneeded. Just straight up did the jobs I asked, at the price quoted. Very honest and straightforward. I'm very satisfied with the service and will use him again. I can't say enough good things about his service, and trust I have in him.

I've actually never written an online review before but wanted to leave one here for Charles. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. I am a real estate agent and deal with contractors all the time and absolutely loved dealing with Charles Morton electric. Charles has been incredibly responsive and able to meet me really quickly to take care of an issue that came up on a client's inspection report. He assessed the issue (which actually wasn't an issue) and wrote up an invoice to reassure the buyers that there was not an issue but rather a problem with the inspector's GFCI tester. I am very thankful that I found him and he will definitely get my business again.

I used Charles's electrical service over 1 year ago to completely wire our basement which we decided to finish. This included wiring for heating and air systems as well. His crew was timely and did an excellent job with the installation. He provided excellent service and made really good suggestions regarding outlet placement and lighting.
